Child Safety Standards

BONE Dating (“BONE”) is a dating app exclusively for adults, published on Google Play by waystar ROYCO (Waystar ROYCO GmbH). We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) — no exceptions, no warnings, no second chances.

These standards apply to everything on BONE: profiles, photos, chats and any other content shared through our service. They describe what is prohibited, how you report violations, how we respond — and who to contact if you have information about a child at risk.

Zero tolerance for CSAE

We explicitly prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any depiction of sexualized minors — photo, video, drawing, AI-generated imagery or text. We remove it, preserve it as evidence and report it to law enforcement.
  • Grooming. Contacting or building trust with a minor with the aim of sexual exploitation, on BONE or by moving the contact to another platform.
  • Sextortion. Threatening to share intimate images to coerce anyone — where a minor is involved, we report immediately.
  • Sexualization of minors. In any form — also “just as fantasy”, also in private chat, also as role play.
  • Trafficking of minors. Advertising, soliciting or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a minor.

BONE Dating is 18+

  • Minimum age 18. BONE is exclusively for adults. Users confirm their age at sign-up; accounts we believe belong to minors are removed.
  • Suspect someone is underage? Report the profile immediately — in the app or to the child safety contact below.

Reporting in the app

  • Every profile and every chat can be reported. On a profile → three dots → “Report”. In chat → three dots → “Report”. Reports are anonymous; the reported user doesn't learn who reported them.
  • Child safety reports are prioritized. They are reviewed by our team ahead of all other reports.

What happens when we find CSAE

  • Immediate removal. The content is removed and the account is permanently terminated — without prior warning.
  • Evidence is preserved to the extent required and permitted by law.
  • We report to the authorities. Confirmed CSAE is reported to the competent law-enforcement authorities and, where applicable, to child-protection organizations such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
  • We cooperate with law enforcement on all lawful requests.

Legal compliance

Waystar ROYCO GmbH complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the markets where BONE Dating is available, including our obligations under the EU Digital Services Act and German law.

Our designated point of contact for child safety concerns — including reports from users, parents, child-protection organizations and authorities — is the Child Safety Team at Waystar ROYCO GmbH:
